What a wonderful time I had on my half of a bike ride. Getting to hear about the history of the East End and all the personal family information is something that you would not get unless you took this tour. Shane wants everyone to feel safe and at home. We were able to eat local fruits and nuts and visit his family's cave. When I became over heated and couldn't continue, Shane was very concerned and took great care of me!!!! TAKE one of his tours. You WILL NOT BE disappointed!!!
We just had the most wonderful sunrise tour of Caymen’s East End this morning with Shane. He was just so thoughtful, pleasant and knowledgeable and we learned so much from him. Shane’s extensive knowledge of Cayman botany, geology, history and culture added to the pleasure of listening to his wonderful stories while cycling through stunning coastal areas with very little traffic. The bicycles were comfortable and in excellent condition. Shane was very conscientious about making sure they were adjusted correctly to our heights and that we were comfortable throughout the ride. He also is a very gracious host. We have been coming ro. Cayman for 20+ years and had never cycled with Shane. What a special treat this morning was! So glad we did Shane’s Sunrise Tour - Shane has given us a renewed appreciation for this beautiful island! Thank you!
We took the coastal loop ride with Shane, it was incredible. We were picked up at a resort on seven mile beach. From the moment we got in the vehicle, our adventure began, learning about the history of the island, the first capital, the many shipwrecks, the ecology, the native plants and wildlife. Shane pays attention to detail, our bikes were finely tuned, gears shifted well and he reminded us which brakes worked which tires so we broke properly. He has a system on his bike that alerts him to when cars are coming up from behind so everyone can be alerted and he can move safely to the left. We sampled many local plants along the way, sea grapes, the bread plum, coconut water and coconut and our favorite, the almond. The pace was easy with just the right amount of stops to visit historical locations like the blowholes, the wreck of the ten sails, lovers wall, barefoot beach and even a stop to search for a blue iguana that is native to the island. Shane is passionate about what he does and enjoys sharing his knowledge and love about his island home. The cost is well worth the experience. On the way back to the resort we even stopped at the local brewery to sample many of their brews.
During my first week of stay in the island, I rented a bike from Eco-ride to explore Cayman. Glad I have made the right choice on Eco-ride. Shane is very accommodating and very friendly. I appreciate Shane's effort of delivering the bike to my hotel on the date and time we have agreed considering the bad weather that time. He even give me a good discount.
Thank you Shane for the effort, next time I will be joining your bike tour.

Amazing tour!!! Shane had all the bikes ready for us, equipped with bike helmets, cold water and a snack. The bikes were in great condition and the scenery was out of this world. We would have not seen the things we did if we rented our own bikes. Shane is from the Island and it gave us a feel for the warmth of the people and his Island. Our tour was of the East End and approximately 4.5 hours with amazing views of the ocean with sites like the blowholes to where local farmers harvest their crops to great history. He is very informative and very safe when it comes to how we rode on the roads.
I’m so happy we experienced all the different aspects of the Island. The people here are absolutely giving and warm. I highly recommend the tour and wish we had enough time to try some of his other packages.
For next time!!!
Thank you Shane!😀
